Welcome to Forestbrook Middle School, Home of the Gators! 

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school. Forestbrook Middle School has a tradition of academic excellence and high expectations for our students and our staff.  The faculty and staff take great pride in providing a safe, secure and nurturing learning environment, while at the same time offering a wide array of exciting and challenging academic programs and extracurricular activities.   Our students excel in the classroom, and are also leaders in athletics and special interest clubs. 

Forestbrook Middle School is comprised of over 800 students in grades six through eight and right at 100 teachers and staff members.  Students attend four academic classes each day, in addition to two elective or "exploratory" courses.  Each grade level attends their classes with their same age peers on a hall designed just for their needs. All courses are driven by our South Carolina state standards with the purpose of preparing all of our Gators to be college and career ready!

We extend a special invitation to our parents and school community members to join us at school activities and events, or to visit your child's classes to observe the top quality teaching and learning happening at FMS.  Our volunteer program, business partnerships, Parent-Teacher Organization, and School Improvement Council provide valuable resources that richly benefit our middle school students.  At Forestbrook Middle School, we believe your involvement and support of your child’s education is necessary for the overall success of our school.
